August 15, 2026 - Fly to Cambridge for breakfast

Before starting work on the RV-10, Nhu-An and I flew over to Cambridge for breakfast.  Cambridge's METAR and TAF looked fine.  The reality would be somewhat different.

What's this!  Over the Choptank River was a broken layer.
   
We droppe down to get under the clouds.
   
We had to fly a 500 foot pattern to stay clear of clouds.

You never know what you're going to get when flying.
   
After breakfast, we flew back to Essex, checking out the Lack Of Progress on the Key Bridge.  It's been two and a half years since the bridge went down, folks.
